Space Ship: Among Meteorites is a classic arcade dodger built for pure pick-up-and-play engagement. The meteorite field is procedurally generated each run — density, speed, and pattern variety all increase on a tuned curve designed to keep players in a flow state for as long as possible.
I implemented both tilt (accelerometer) and touch controls, with a calibration step on first launch so the tilt sensitivity matches the player's natural hold angle. The control layer switches seamlessly mid-session.
The project was an early exploration of procedural difficulty scaling — the same system influenced the approach I later used on Slime Blast and subsequent prototypes.
